It's adorabally quaint but the leaks and the damp smell were so distracting, I almost enjoyed my stay! And let's not forget the complete lack of staff when we arrived in the rain- appreciated that. I definitely expected a complimentary gesture for such inconveniences.

It was as expected, had a very lovely stay for the price. Great place to stay, impeccably clean, everything was fantastic. The food for breakfast, especially cereal and pancakes, was fabulous. Truly enjoyed an electric kettle and a TV in the room. All the employees were excellent and amicable. The location was excellent, with restaurants and pubs not far from the hotel.

walkable distance to key areas, unusual decor, personal touch
Stairs leading to the rooms are narrow and difficult!!! The overall ambiance feels antiquated and run down, not what I expected from my stay. Improve maintenance for a better experience!!!

The bar really is a beautiful spot to unwind after a day of exploring Galway Harbour. My kids enjoyed the easy stroll along the promenade.
For dads, it would be great if there were more kid-friendly activities available.

great atmosphere but narrow stairs
The breakfast options were good. Staff members were genuinely friendly. The room was pristine, and the shower pressure was really good, easily the best I've experienced across different accommodations. I also appreciated the walkable distance to key areas, made exploring the surroundings convenient.
